To start photographing when arriving at a new location

I am in Hong Kong for vacation and some work. It’s time to bring out that eye for images again, after resting the cameras for a while. Sometimes the best way is to warm up by starting to take images as you go.

Photographing is seeing. The moments worth freezing are everywhere. The trick is to discover them.

Hong Kong is a monster of a city, with lots of people, sounds and activities from early morning to late night. The neon lights make night shooting as easy as during the day. In fact, it’s often even better since the night is more colourful.

I’m looking for street images, situations that are a bit different, contrasts between old and new, cultural peculiarities, reflexes in glass or wet streets and similar.
